Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Choose Installation Location: Select a location with proper ventilation, away from heat sources and with easy access to electrical outlet.
  2. Remove Packaging Materials: Remove all protective films, tapes, and packaging materials from the microwave.
  3. Check Clearance Requirements: Ensure minimum clearance of 3 inches on top, 2 inches on sides, and 1 inch at the back for proper ventilation.
  4. Electrical Connection: Connect to a properly grounded 120V, 60Hz, 15A dedicated outlet. Do not use an extension cord.
  5. Level the Microwave: If installing over range, ensure microwave is level and securely mounted to wall studs.
  6. Install Ventilation: Connect exhaust duct if using ventilation system (check local building codes).
  7. Test Operation: Run the microwave for 1 minute with a cup of water to check for proper operation.
