Step-by-Step Installation
- Choose Installation Location: Select a location with proper ventilation and clearance. For over-the-range models, ensure minimum clearance above cooktop.
- Remove Packaging Materials: Remove all shipping materials, protective films, and packing pieces from the microwave.
- Prepare Mounting Area: For over-the-range models, locate wall studs and mark mounting bracket positions. Ensure electrical outlet is accessible.
- Install Mounting Bracket: Secure mounting bracket to wall studs using provided hardware. Use level to ensure bracket is straight.
- Electrical Connection: Connect to a properly grounded 120V, 60Hz, AC only outlet. Dedicated circuit recommended for over-the-range models.
- Mount the Microwave: Lift microwave onto mounting bracket. For over-the-range models, secure with mounting screws through top cabinet.
- Ventilation Setup: Configure ventilation (external venting or recirculating) according to your kitchen setup and local codes.
- Test Operation: Test all functions including microwave, light, and fan to ensure proper installation.
