Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Phillips screwdriver
  • Level
  • Tape measure
  • Drill (for wall mounting)
  • Stud finder

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Choose Installation Location: Select a location near electrical outlet with proper ventilation clearance (minimum 3 inches on top and sides).
  2. Check Electrical Requirements: Ensure dedicated 120V, 60Hz, 15A circuit is available. Do not use with GFCI outlets.
  3. Prepare Mounting Surface: For over-the-range models, locate wall studs and mark mounting positions.
  4. Install Mounting Plate: Secure mounting plate to wall using appropriate hardware for your wall type.
  5. Connect Ventilation: Install ductwork for external ventilation if required by your model.
  6. Mount Microwave: With assistance, lift microwave and hook onto mounting plate. Secure with provided screws.
  7. Electrical Connection: Plug into dedicated outlet. For hardwired models, connect electrical wires following local codes.
  8. Test Operation: Run microwave for 1 minute with a cup of water to verify proper operation.

Troubleshooting
