Step-by-Step Installation
- Choose Installation Location: Select a location above your range with proper ventilation and electrical access.
- Remove Old Unit: If replacing an existing unit, disconnect power and remove the old microwave.
- Install Mounting Plate: Secure the mounting plate to the wall using appropriate screws for your wall type.
- Prepare Electrical Connection: Ensure a dedicated 120V, 60Hz, 15A circuit is available. Do not use an extension cord.
- Install Ventilation: Connect the ductwork for proper ventilation (recirculating or external vent options available).
- Mount Microwave: With assistance, lift the microwave and hook it onto the mounting plate.
- Secure Unit: Secure the microwave with mounting screws through the top cabinet.
- Test Operation: Test all functions including microwave, vent fan, and lighting.
