Step-by-Step Installation
- Choose Installation Location: Select a location with proper ventilation, away from heat sources and with easy access to electrical outlet.
- Remove Packaging Materials: Remove all protective films, tapes, and packaging materials from the microwave.
- Check Clearance Requirements: Ensure minimum clearance of 3 inches on top, 2 inches on sides, and 1 inch at the back for proper ventilation.
- Electrical Connection: Connect to a properly grounded 120V, 60Hz, 15A dedicated circuit. Do not use an extension cord.
- Mounting (if applicable): For over-the-range models, secure mounting bracket to wall studs and ensure proper support.
- Level the Microwave: Adjust leveling feet or mounting brackets to ensure the microwave is perfectly level.
- Test Operation: Run the microwave for 1 minute with a cup of water to check for proper operation and heating.
