Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Power drill
  • Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
  • Measuring tape
  • Level
  • Pencil
  • Stud finder

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Choose Installation Location: Select a location above your range with proper ventilation and electrical access.
  2. Remove Existing Unit: If replacing an existing microwave, carefully remove it and disconnect all electrical and ventilation connections.
  3. Prepare Mounting Area: Locate wall studs and mark the mounting bracket position using the provided template.
  4. Install Mounting Bracket: Secure the mounting bracket to the wall studs using appropriate screws.
  5. Electrical Connection: Connect to a dedicated 120V, 60Hz, 15A circuit. Follow local electrical codes.
  6. Ventilation Setup: Connect the ventilation duct to the microwave's exhaust port. Choose between recirculating or external venting.
  7. Mount Microwave: Lift the microwave onto the mounting bracket and secure it according to instructions.
  8. Test Operation: Test all functions including microwave, vent fan, and lighting to ensure proper installation.
