Step-by-Step Installation
- Choose Installation Location: Select a location over your stove with proper ventilation and electrical access. Ensure there is at least 30 inches between stove top and microwave bottom.
- Prepare Mounting Area: Locate wall studs and mark positions for the mounting bracket. Ensure proper clearance from surrounding cabinets.
- Install Mounting Bracket: Secure the mounting bracket to wall studs using provided hardware. Use a level to ensure proper alignment.
- Electrical Connection: Connect to a dedicated 120V, 60Hz, 15-20 amp grounded outlet. Do not use an extension cord.
- Ventilation Setup: Choose between external venting (recommended) or recirculating venting. Install ductwork if using external venting.
- Mount Microwave: With assistance, lift microwave onto mounting bracket and secure with mounting screws provided.
- Test Operation: Test all functions including microwave cooking, exhaust fan, and lighting to ensure proper operation.
